How Much Can a Bag of Holding Hold

A handbag of holding is an enchanted item that has an interior space considerably larger than its outer dimensions, roughly two feet in diameter at the mouth and iv anxiety deep. One purse can hold up to five hundred pounds, non exceeding a volume of lx-iv cubic feet. Each bag weighs fifteen pounds, regardless of the contents within it.

Vox Machina's Bags

Vox Machina obtained its first bag of belongings equally loot from an ancient druid barrow[3] around 6th level.[4] The grouping later learned of a bag of holding'southward limitations when they tried to shop a animate being, Dork the Ox, within their purse. Anything living that gets stored inside a purse of holding dies. They too learned from Lady Allura that, if a bag of holding is destroyed, its contents are jettisoned into the Astral Ocean.

Later, Tiberius purchased a bag of holding. Vex'ahlia kept a special "bag of colding" from the Slayer'south Take that preserves biological samples. Taryon brought his own handbag of property when he joined upward with Vox Machina.

Vex'ahlia'south Bag of Colding

When Vox Machina's first subgroup embarked on the trial for membership into the Slayer's Take guild, Mertin Cyndrial temporarily loaned the party a special satchel. The bag featured an over-the-shoulder strap that opened and closed through a series of metal snap-buttons across the peak, and the interior resembled that of a normal bag of holding. Mertin explained that perishable items kept within should be preserved for "[...] a few weeks, at the very least."[ix]

When Mertin asked which party fellow member would take the pocketbook, Grog immediately laid claim, but the group rejected his offer since he already had the regular bag of holding. Vex'ahlia and Zahra Hydris then simultaneously jumped at the chance, settling the dispute by roshambo; Vex's rock won confronting Zahra'south scissors, then she chop-chop took it from Zahra and strapped it across her back.[10]

The pocketbook could concord 100 pounds of material while weighing just five pounds.[11]

When the Mighty Nein adventuring party get-go arrived in Zadash, they entered a shop called "The Invulnerable Vagrant" and met Enchanter Pumat Sol. Jester traded a magical glaive (the Fleshrender[17]) that was valued at 300 gp, along with an boosted 200 gp, for a "Fantastic Haversack".[18] The description of the Fantastic Haversack was consequent with that of Heward'due south handy haversack.[19] Upon completing the transaction, Pumat Sol Prime number changed the haversack'southward brown leather colour to a bright pink.[twenty]

Fjord's Bag of Belongings

Fjord took a bag of property from Lorenzo's holding. He flipped information technology inside out, causing the contents to fall out onto the floor.
